This year, as many as 3000 participants took part in the IITF.

The theme of IITF 2016 “DIGITAL INDIA”, an initiative of the Government of India with the vision to transform India into a digital empowered society and knowledge economy. The program is focusing on improving the enabling infrastructure as well as increasing internet connectivity.

The Trade Fair had its usual displays of state pavilions; household and consumer items, handloom and handicrafts, stalls by various government departments, armed forces, engineering etc. The theme this year is “Make in India”, our Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s recent war cry. We participated in the event and and were amazed with the exhilarating response at the event. It was visited by 52 foreign trade delegations from over 45 countries across the globe. The visitor profile covers leaders of trade and industry, foreign dignitaries, decision makers, policy makers and opinion makers.
